The Premier League Thriller: LIVERPOOL vs LEEDS UNITED

The last year’s premier league champions faced off with the champions of the EFL Championship, and what a game it was.

Mohamed Salah scored within the first five minutes from the spot to give Liverpool the lead as expected but Leeds United did not give up. They came back three times from behind to level with Klopps men till it was finally another penalty kick in the closing minutes of the game that helped the Reds snatch their first victory.

The Premier League Surprise – SPURS vs EVERTON

If you are Jose Mourinho you can’t help but be disappointed. The toffees managed to snatch a rare victory against the Spurs as the Spurs defense looked all but beaten senseless. Richarlison de Andrade and Dominic Calvert-Lewin threatened the goalkeeper more often than should be allowed and the spurs defense was lack lustrous. The single goal came in the 55th minute by an assist from the Frenchman Lucas Digne and a brilliant header by Lewin.

The Expected Spanish Inquisition: FULHAM vs ARSENAL

Fulham was bought to an awakening of how things are done in the top tier of the English league. Mikel Arteta’s men showed no respite scoring thrice in the second half. With Willian, an added bonus Arsenal looks pretty complete this season. The goals came from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as was expected. But the debutant Gabriel dos Santos Magalhães from Brazil got a fine start with a goal to his Arsenal career too.
